About Us

Padma Imports Pty Ltd is an importing and wholesale company based in Brisbane, Queensland. It was started by Chris Lee in the mid 1990's when he brought back some wooden beads, incense products and other handicrafts from India.

Now we have a very extensive range of products like incense, clothing, home-wares and textiles, gift lines, greeting cards, mats and rugs and other lines that are mainly still from India but with stock also from Bali, Indonesia, Thailand and China too.

We also spend a lot of time and effort developing our own product ranges that are often not available elsewhere.

We have a very large warehouse in Brisbane (2,000 square meters) that is like a cash and carry wholesale operation, with aisles and trolleys for retailers to choose and purchase stock where they can select their own colors and quantities of stock. There are also too many lines coming in for us always to add them to a catalogue or website and if you come into our warehouse you can find many many more things are available.

Our stock is generally very competitively priced and generally cheaper than other wholesalers on most of our product lines. We try to make it possible for small businesses to remain competitive as when they prosper we can too.
